The Govind Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary located in the Purola town of Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand India .
It is well known for its natural beauty and its white leopard population.
The Govind Sanctuary is also associated with legends of from Ramayana, the legend says Laxman kept a watch on Lanka from here.
