    Hari ki Pauri

    ( 2.5 kms ) This Ghat was built by King Vikramaditya in the memory of his brother Bhatrihari, who is said to have meditated here.Brahma Kund, is located at Har ki Pauri and is considered to be the most sacred ghat of here. The evening Ganga aarti provides a beautiful view for the visitors . Thousands of people from all around the world attend this prayer on their visit to Haridwar.

    Mansa Devi Temple

    ( 2.5 kms ) The Mansa Devi temple is one of the oldest holy places here and is atop the Bilwa Mountain. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa devi ( desires ) and is frequented by by tourists from all corners of the world. It is said that pilgrims who pray to the goddess with a pure heart can get their desires fulfilled by the blessings of goddess Mansa Devi.

    ( 2.5kms ) The temple is a 3 km trek from Chandighat and can also be reached through a ropeway . Dedicated to Goddess Chandi this temple is atop Neel Mountain. Goddess Parvati created Chandi Devi to destroy the evil deamons Shumbh and Nishumbh.

    ( 3.5kms ) The sacred tank is named after Bhima. It is said that while Pandavas were going to Himalayas through Haridwar, prince Bhima drew water from the rocks here by thrusting his knee (goda), to the ground.
