How to reach Gaurikund

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is about 210 km from Gaurikund and Rishikesh is the nearest railway station at a distance of 186 km. Buses are also available from nearby cities to the place. Delhi ( 435 kms approx ) . Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh - Devprayag - Srinagar - Rudraprayag - Guptkashi - Sonprayag - Gaurikund.

Gaurikund is well connected by trains to nearest destinations Haridwar from New Delhi and other major cities. i.e Mumbai, Lucknow etc

There are lots of buses available from ISBT, Kashmere Gate in New Delhi nearest destination Rishikesh,Haridwar and Rudraprayag. These buses depart every half hour 24X7.

The state transport bus terminals in Uttarakhand are located just outside the railway station. They are a cheap and economical mode of transport if on budget and can charge anywhere between 200 - 250 from Delhi to Rishikesh and about 190 - 200 approx from Rishikesh to Gaurikund.

Private taxi or cab fare is anywhere between 800 - 1000 for a one way journey from Rudraprayag to Gaurikund.
